Internet Efficiency

A storefront shopping cart is a way to sell products on the Internet.  Online shopping has become an enormous part of the economy.  Why?  Simply because it is so much more efficient and convenient than traditional brick and mortar stores.  An ecommerce storefront can potentially handle infinite shoppers at once, while a physical building would quickly get over-run and chaotic.  Ecommerce shopping cart software essentially functions like an employee who can run a hundred thousand cashiers at once without making mistakes, who never needs a break, and doesn’t want a raise or vacation.  Many shoppers also love hassle-free online shopping.  They don’t need to drive to a store, which is very convenient, especially when traffic is bad.  Shoppers can take all the time they need, without worrying about closing time or wasting a salesperson’s time.  They can even take a break to get something to eat without losing their place.

Online shopping save all the expense associated with owning and operating a physical store, and it replaces human drudgery with computer software instantly and tirelessly handling a million simultaneous calculations.  It’s no wonder that more and more businesses are switching over to online sales or at least adding an online component to their retail business.
